Diff took a little bit but its in and the driveshaft is hooked up. Only thing we're missing is the axle bolts to get the driveline finished. Have to stop by Nissan and order some.
Zoltec came through with the improved water neck adapter. His shit is top notch, and came out better than I expected. Note to self: need Zoltechnologies Inc grafic to put on car.
I finally was able to swap over the heater/ac/blower assembly to the new chassis, something I've been looking forward to. Since I was missing some pieces, the old chassis provided source for all the little stuff I misplaced or lost. The brake pedal needed the pin and is now installed. Throttle was missing the cable, but I swapped the entire pedal assembly in as it was easier. We just need to make a bracke for it on the throttle body side. Clutch pedal requires some more work as the u-shaped bracket needs to be fabricated. The dash bar got painted and swapped in. The shift boot got installed onto the shifter. It doesn't fit perfectly, but it should do just fine.
I still need to swap out the e-brake handle, as the one in new chassis is a little beat for my taste.
I did find couple of good generic heater hose lines that I hope will work, otherwise I'll just go with AN stuff and stainless braided lines. That shit looks baller anyway.
Bad news is that I broke one of the header bolts, but that I hope would be an easy fix.
I am starting to get concerned about the hood fitment, but I might have something lined up for that.
Next step?
throttle bracket, brake lines, engine wiring harness, install tires, hvac wiring, cage paint, radiator mounts and hoses, ect.
Little by little I can start to see a light at the end of the tunel.
and yeah, I need more pix
